At some point in our life, whether we like to admit it or not; we have all experienced some type of sunburn. Here are the basics for treating it!
* Apply a cold compress to the affected area(s).
* Take Tylenol (acetaminophen) to relieve discomfort or aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDS, like Motrin) to relieve discomfort and inflammation.
* Apply a cooling gel or ointment containing aloe vera, or an over-the-counter 1% hydro-cortisone cream to the affected area.
