On the day of your appointment, arrive with a clean face, and a numbing cream will be applied for 45 minutes to 1 hour for your comfort. To prepare, avoid chemical peels, Retin-A, products with active ingredients, and all forms of tanning for 3-4 days prior. These steps ensure your skin is ready for optimal results.
During Treatment:
During your Clear + Brilliant treatment, protective eyewear will be provided to shield your eyes from the laser light. The laser is gently passed over your skin, producing a warm or mild prickling sensation. With the numbing cream applied beforehand, most patients find the procedure comfortable. Sessions typically take 30-45 minutes, depending on the treatment area, for a quick and effective skin rejuvenation.
After Treatment:
Your skin may appear red and feel warm, similar to a mild sunburn, immediately after the treatment. These effects usually subside within 1-4 days as your skin begins to heal. Some dryness or flakiness may occur, which is a normal part of the recovery process. Keep your skin well-hydrated and use sunscreen to protect it and enhance your results.
